The people that set up this site:

The owners (I hate that, it's a site for everyone!) are a couple, Matt & Katy. Katy contracted meningiococal septicaemia in January 2002, and although she has no physical scars (she was very lucky!) she bears the mental scars everyday, so knows how hard this illness can affect people. Katy is 23 years of age, works for a large firm of solicitors.

Matt is Katy's partner, and although he wasn't with Katy when she had meningitis, he knows full well the lasting effects of it.

We both look forward to chatting with you on the forums!

Site aims:

As has been stated above, this site has been set up to help the sufferers of meningitis and their families. There is a forum available for you to speak to other sufferers, and the families of those affected. The idea behind this is to provide a voice to those that may otherwise suffer in silence. As time goes on and the site grows, we are hoping to develop it into the number one place for people affected by meningitis.
